24th Dodge County Business Expo

Springtime is coming and so is another Dodge County Expo, on Saturday, March 23rd. With new exhibitors joining many regulars, there will be plenty of new products and service information for visitors. There will be lots of good food, entertainment and expanded activities for youngsters, so mark your calendar, set your alarm and load up the family for the 24th Annual Dodge County Expo.

The Dodge County Expo features only Dodge County businesses and organizations either physically located in Dodge County or members of a Dodge County chamber of commerce. The show, which is one of the most successful in southeast Minnesota, provides visitors with a sampling of the more than 100 businesses and organizations in Dodge County. More than 3,000 visitors are expected to attend again this year.

In 2023 there were several new exhibitors, such as the Dodge Center Public Library with information on the variety of services available in a modern library. Dodge County Veterans Services is returning with information for veterans and their families. REM Woodvale works with individuals with disabilities. There is information about housing and home maintenance, finance, health, history, and about every kind of product and/or service available in Dodge County. 

Activities begin at 8 a.m. with visitors arriving and getting charged up for six hours of information, entertainment and great edible samples. In addition to all the helpful vendors, there will be many family friendly attractions. Rookie the Clown will be making balloon creations compliments of the Expo. 

Youth Station: 4-H Extension will have cool stuff for youth (and adults!) The Just For Kix from Byron and Kasson will all be performing for everyone to see.  There is also a scavenger hunt with prizes for youngsters.  Adults can also win prizes by signing up at the Chambers of Commerce booth, where Dodge County Chambers have a variety of baskets with valuable gifts donated by member businesses.

 

Admission to the Expo is FREE and everyone is welcome. The Dodge County Expo is Saturday, March 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Triton High School, 813 West Hwy. St., Dodge Center. Use the Activities Entrance.
